Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, seeks an experienced Inventory & Logistics Coordinator in Coimbatore to oversee stock levels, logistics, and coordination with production and procurement. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and timely material availability for production and dispatch of finished goods.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAP/ERP modules, inventory forecasting, and advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Ability to manage a team of store assistants, loaders, and data entry operators.
• Strong attention to detail to reconcile variances and manage complex supply chains.
• Material issuance accuracy and adherence to warehouse safety standards.
• Experience with ISO 9001/14001 compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control: Manage stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods with regular physical counts.
• Logistics & Storage: Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch operations with proper handling.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with production and procurement for timely material availability.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations and housekeeping.
• Documentation & Systems: Maintain records of inventory transactions, invoices, and challans, often using SAP.
• Team Management: Supervise, train, and schedule store personnel.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure incoming material quality before inward entry.
