Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, is seeking a seasoned procurement professional in Mumbai to lead end-to-end purchasing, vendor development, and strategic sourcing. You will collaborate with sourcing to assess requirements, evaluate bids, and negotiate across multiple levels while ensuring timely delivery and invoice processing.

Knowledge of electrical, electronics and fabrication commodities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement and vendor management.
• Bachelor's in Electronics with MBA/PGDM in supply chain or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and KPI-driven performance focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement from initiation to delivery.
• Coordinate with sourcing, evaluate requirements and bids.
• Develop and manage vendors, negotiate terms across levels.
• Ensure adherence to procurement processes with integrity.
• Oversee plan, purchase, delivery, invoicing and payments.
• Apply knowledge of electrical/electronics and fabrication commodities.
• Implement KPIs like OTD, inventory and payment cycles.
• Prepare regular analytics reports and KPI status.
• Leverage SAP for procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• The incumbent will perform required functions from initiation of an intent to purchase to satisfactory delivery of material.
• Follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short-term objectives. The incumbent should have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or escalations.
• Liaison with sourcing organization to evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, and obtain bids.
• Should be capable for Vendor Development, Vendor Management and to Negotiate in multiple levels.
• Coordinate should know the process of procurement and willingness to follow with the Integrity.
• Should be responsible for end-to-end activities like plan, purchase, delivery, Invoice etc.
• Should have the knowledge of electrical, electronics and fabrication commodities.
• Implement and maintain KPIs like OTD, Inventory Management, Payment Cycle, to monitor and improve performance of managed supply base.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly analysis reports and status of the jobs/KPI assigned.
• Should have strong working experience in SAP for procurement prospective.

Education & Experience

• Total Experience in years: 7-8 Yrs
• Graduation/ Degree: BE / BTech Electronics
• Post-Graduation/ PGDM: MBA Operations / Supply chain management (OR) PGDM in Material Management / Procurement
• Preferred courses/ certifications: Negotiation skills / Vendor management / Project management
