Job summary

Versa Drives in India is seeking an Inventory Executive Finished Goods to manage finished goods stock across warehouses, maintain Zoho Inventory records, and ensure timely availability for sales and dispatch.

You will perform cycle counts, reconcile with Zoho, monitor aging stock, and coordinate with Sales and Purchase teams to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.

Qualifications

• Any Degree/Diploma, preferably in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• 2-5 years of experience in Finished Goods Inventory / Warehouse / Stock Management.
• Hands-on experience in Zoho Inventory preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and reconciliation skills.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with Zoho Inventory.

Inventory Executive Finished Goods

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate and efficient management of finished goods inventory across warehouses, maintain accurate stock records in Zoho Inventory, and ensure timely availability of products for sales and dispatch while controlling excess, slow-moving, and non-moving stock.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finished Goods Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of all finished goods stock.
• Monitor daily stock levels across warehouses.
• Ensure all stock receipts, transfers, dispatches, returns, and adjustments are properly recorded.
• Monitor product-wise stock availability.
• Identify shortage, excess, slow-moving, and non-moving stock.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of finished goods.

2. Zoho Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate product/item details in Zoho Inventory.
• Record and verify:
• Stock receipts
• Sales orders
• Delivery/dispatch transactions
• Stock transfers
• Customer returns
• Stock adjustments
• Ensure physical stock movement is updated in Zoho Inventory on time.
• Regularly check system stock and investigate discrepancies.

3. Physical Stock Verification & Reconciliation

• Conduct regular physical stock verification/cycle counts.
• Reconcile physical stock with Zoho Inventory.
• Investigate differences and identify the reasons for stock variances.
• Prepare stock variance reports and coordinate with the concerned team for corrective action.
• Support monthly/periodic stock audits.

4. Sales & Dispatch Coordination

• Coordinate with the Sales team regarding product availability.
• Check stock availability against customer orders.
• Coordinate with the warehouse/dispatch team for timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure the correct product and quantity are dispatched.
• Track pending orders due to stock unavailability.
• Monitor and record customer returns accurately.

5. Inventory Planning

• Monitor minimum stock levels and reorder levels.
• Identify products that need replenishment.
• Prepare stock requirement reports for the Purchase team.
• Monitor stock coverage and help maintain adequate inventory for sales requirements.
• Avoid both stock-outs and unnecessary excess stock.

6. Stock Aging & Working Capital Control

• Prepare and monitor Finished Goods Aging Reports.
• Categorize inventory, for example:
• 030 days
• 31-60 days
• 61-90 days
• 91-180 days
• Above 180 days
• Highlight slow-moving and non-moving products to management.
• Coordinate with Sales/Marketing for liquidation or movement of aging stock.
• Monitor excess inventory and help reduce unnecessary working capital blockage.
