Job summary

Allana Group in Zaheerabad is seeking a Packaging Supervisor for our pet food manufacturing plant. You will supervise packaging operations, manage a team of operators, and ensure output meets company standards and specifications.

The role includes operating Vertical FFS machines, coordinating cleaning, training staff, enforcing SOPs, maintaining packing quality, coordinating preventive maintenance with Engineering, and supporting new product trials.

Qualifications

• ITI or technical certificate (fitter/electrical) preferred.
• Ability to read and understand machine manuals and SOPs in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate vertical FFS machines and troubleshoot as needed.
• Plan cleaning and sanitization as per standards.
• Train and deploy manpower at critical workstations.
• Ensure food safety standards and address any noncompliance.
• Ensure packing quality and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with Engineering for higher reliability.
• Report safety hazards and mitigate risks.
• Support new product trials by participating in packing tests.

Role :

Packaging Supervisor - Pet Food Manufacturing Plant - Location Zaheerabad.

Responsibilities:

Packaging Supervisor to oversee our packaging operations within the production department. The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of packaging operators, ensuring efficient packaging of products according to company standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities Area :

• Operational Responsibility:
• Vertical FFS machines operation and Trouble shooting
• Ensure the All the cleaning and Sanitization activities are planned and carried out as per the standard.
• Train and deploy to the manpower in the critical workstations in the area.
• Follow all the food safety Standards in the area as specified in the SoP and escape any noncompliance and deviations and take further actions to mitigate their impacts.
• Take accountability for the quality of Packing by ensuring that is standards are being followed.
• Plan for Preventive maintenance of the Equipment along with Engg team to ensure higher reliability.
• Report all safety hazards in the area and take actions to mitigate them.
• Support the development of New products by participating in packing trials.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Preferably ITI (fitter/electrical) or other Technical Certificate.
• Language Skills: Capable of reading and understand the machine manuals and SOPs in English.
