Job summary

Laxmi Snacks (Real Bites) in Gujarat, India is seeking an experienced Packing Foreman with hands-on experience in food/bakery packing operations to lead the shift.

The candidate should be proficient in Flow Wrap Packing Machines, machine changeovers, maintenance, wastage control, and managing around 30 staff on the packing shop floor, ensuring GMP, hygiene and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Food Packing / FMCG / Bakery Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Wrap Packing Machines.
• Experience in machine changeover and SKU-wise parts adjustment.
• Knowledge of packing machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong manpower handling and shop-floor management skills.
• Knowledge of laminate/packing material wastage control.
• Knowledge of GMP, hygiene, and food safety practices.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
• Experience in packing for Rusk, Bread, Biscuit or Bakery products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Flow Wrap Packaging Machines efficiently.
• Perform machine changeover as per different SKUs and product requirements.
• Coordinate around 30 manpower on the packing shop floor.
• Ensure smooth and continuous packing operations.
• Monitor and control laminate/packaging material wastage and take corrective actions.
• Conduct basic machine troubleshooting and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of packing machines to minimize breakdowns and production losses.
• Maintain proper production and packing records.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments for smooth operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Packing Foreman with hands‑on experience in food/bakery packing operations. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Flow Wrap Packing Machines, machine changeover, basic maintenance, SKU‑wise changeover parts, wastage control, and manpower handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Flow Wrap Packaging Machines efficiently.


• Perform machine changeover as per different SKUs and product requirements.


• Handle and coordinate approximately 30 manpower on the packing shop floor.


• Ensure smooth and continuous packing operations.


• Monitor and control laminate/packaging material wastage and take corrective actions.

• Ensure preventive maintenance of packing machines to minimize breakdowns and production losses.


• Ensure proper availability and condition of changeover parts as per SKU.


• Monitor packing machine performance, output, and efficiency.

• Maintain proper production and packing records.

• Ensure proper manpower allocation, discipline, and adherence to safety procedures.
