Job summary

Tata AutoComp in Maharashtra's Chakan region invites an experienced Stores & Logistics professional to oversee stores management, inventory control, and dispatch operations within a fast-paced automotive components environment.

You will coordinate with Production, PPC, Purchase, and Quality teams to ensure material availability, accurate stock, and on-time delivery, while maintaining 5S standards and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 to 10 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Logistics, or Dispatch.
• Preferably from Automotive, Auto Components, Stamping, Sheet Metal, Press Shop, or Fabrication industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage inward and outward material transactions.
• Ensure timely GRN creation and material receipt verification.
• Maintain storage, identification, and traceability of raw materials, WIP, consumables, and finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adherence to FIFO / FEFO practices.
• Conduct daily, cycle, and annual physical inventory audits.
• Coordinate with Production, PPC, Purchase, and Quality teams for uninterrupted material availability.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
• Plan dispatches as per customer schedules and PPC requirements.
• Ensure timely shipment of finished goods with zero delivery delays.
• Prepare dispatch documentation including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, packing lists, and gate passes.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and dispatch execution.
• Monitor vehicle loading and unloading activities.
• Track dispatch performance and customer delivery adherence.
• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space.
• Maintain 5S and visual management standards in stores and dispatch areas.
• Implement inventory control systems and improve warehouse productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and statutory requirements.
