Job summary

SAIBABA POLYMER TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (A Unit of Baba Group of Companies) invites applications for an Inventory & Stores Management role. Oversee inward materials, ensure FIFO/5S, and maintain real-time stock records.

Dispatch planning, critical documents (DCs, invoices, packing lists, E-Way bills) and transporter coordination are key. ERP/data entry in Excel or inventory software is required, with strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any stream with a diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of 5S principles and warehouse management is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, for stock sheets.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; good communicator with transporters and teams.

Responsibilities

• Material receipt and inspection of raw materials, packaging materials, and spares.
• Store and organize materials with FIFO and 5S compliance for efficiency and cleanliness.
• Maintain real-time stock records and perform regular physical stock verification.
• Plan daily outward dispatches based on orders and schedules.
• Prepare DCs, invoices, packing lists, and E-Way bills; coordinate with transporters.
• Ensure ERP/data entry accuracy in Excel or inventory software; follow safety guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

Inventory & Stores Management

• Material Receipt & Inspection: Oversee the inward movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and engineering spares; verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Storage & Organizing: Ensure proper storage and layout of materials in the warehouse, strictly adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and 5S standards for maximum efficiency and cleanliness.
• Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate, real-time stock records and conduct regular physical stock verification to minimize discrepancies.

Dispatch & Logistics Operations

• Dispatch Planning: Coordinate daily outward dispatches of finished goods based on customer orders and production schedules.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage crucial logistics documents including Delivery Challans (DC), Invoices, Packing Lists, and E-Way bills.
• Transporter Coordination: Coordinate with logistics vendors, arrange vehicles, and ensure safe, timely loading and securing of materials for transit.

System & Compliance

• ERP/Data Entry: Ensure timely and error-free data entry of all inward and outward transactions in MS Office (Excel) or the company's inventory software.
• Safety & Guidelines: Adhere to plant safety protocols during material handling, loading, and unloading operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com, B.Sc, B.A) or Diploma.
