Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and CSM, along with ServiceNow integration capabilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in platform development, system integrations, workflow automation, and implementing scalable solutions that connect ServiceNow with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and CSM modules.
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer workflows, and Service Catalog items.
• Configure ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Implement ITOM capabilities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• Configure ITAM processes for hardware/software asset management, asset lifecycle tracking, and license management.
• Maintain CMDB data quality, CI relationships, identification and reconciliation rules, and integrations with Discovery.
• Develop CSM workflows for customer case management, customer service operations, and customer-facing processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP web services, IntegrationHub, and scripted integrations.
• Configure and manage IntegrationHub spokes, custom actions, data transformations, and integration workflows where applicable.
• Work with MID Servers to support integrations and data exchange with on-premises systems where required.
• Implement authentication mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and basic authentication where appropriate, and handle API security and error management.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data synchronization issues, API errors, and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, unit testing, deployment, upgrades, and production support.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices for security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
• Experience across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and CSM modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting REST API and SOAP integrations.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, web services, scripted REST APIs, and third-party application integrations.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, API authentication, data mapping, transformation, and error handling.
• Knowledge of MID Server configuration and troubleshooting for applicable integrations.
• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, CI relationships, and data synchronization.
• Familiarity with update sets, application deployment, debugging, testing, and release management.
• Ability to troubleshoot platform and integration issues in enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or relevant CIS certifications.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, monitoring tools, ERP platforms, HR systems, or external ITSM applications.
• Exposure to IntegrationHub spokes, Service Graph Connectors, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and production support.
