Job summary

ThreatXIntel is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will work across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping, building scalable workflows and integrations with external systems.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, strong JavaScript and Glide scripting skills, and a solid ITIL background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience focusing on ITSM and ITOM.
• Strong practical experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide scripting.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and IT Service Management processes.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Studio IDE, and Update Sets.
• Strong CMDB lifecycle knowledge and CSDM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM applications and modules.
• Work with Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB.
• Design and optimize workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and automation.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (AD, monitoring platforms, cloud environments).
• Build integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, and ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
• Manage and enhance the CMDB with data quality and CSDM alignment.
• Implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Identify and maintain CIs and relationships; troubleshoot issues across ITSM and ITOM.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into reliable ServiceNow solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITSM & ITOM Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining solutions on the ServiceNow platform

.
The ideal candidate will have solid expertise across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, integrations, and workflow automation. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions that improve service delivery, automate processes, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM applications and modules.
• Work extensively with Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB.
• Design and optimize workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and automation.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems such as Active Directory, monitoring platforms, and cloud environments.
• Build integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, and ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
• Manage and enhance the CMDB, ensuring data quality, integrity, and alignment with CSDM.
• Implement and maintain ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Identify and maintain Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM.
• Gather technical requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.
• Follow ServiceNow development standards, security practices, governance requirements, and platform best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with strong focus on ITSM and ITOM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with cloud-native infrastructure and cloud discovery.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Agent Client Collector (ACC).
• Experience with advanced CMDB capabilities.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise monitoring and infrastructure platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
