Job summary

Skillset Squad Pvt Ltd is seeking an SEO Specialist to lead organic growth initiatives. You will plan, implement, and manage the companys overall SEO strategy, working with content, development, and marketing teams to improve visibility and drive qualified leads.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, proficiency with major tools, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time on-site position in Navi Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven SEO experience in dynamic environments.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Hands-on with industry-standard tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for growth and content optimization.
• Plan and execute SEO strategies covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking structure.
• Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve crawl errors and site speed issues.
• Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building campaigns and digital PR.
• Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
• Prepare and present clear SEO reports to management and clients.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other KPIs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
• Assist in content strategy development and provide recommendations for briefs.

Role Overview

As an SEO Specialist at Skillset Squad Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the companys overall SEO strategy. You will work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to improve website visibility, drive organic traffic, and generate qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for growth and content optimization.
• Plan and execute SEO strategies covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking structure.
• Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and mobile usability problems.
• Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building campaigns, guest posts, partnerships, and digital PR.
• Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
• Prepare and present clear, actionable SEO reports to management and clients.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Executive, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
• Solid knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with HTML/CSS basics and website analytics is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Google Analytics / SEO is an added advantage.
