Job summary

Skyair Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to drive planning, execution, and handover of varied HVAC installations across commercial and industrial sites. You will lead coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The candidate will manage multi-disciplinary teams, review drawings and BOQs, and oversee procurement to ensure timely material availability.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in HVAC project execution.
• Strong experience in commercial HVAC, VRV/VRF, centralized AC and related systems.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and site teams.
• Proficiency in HVAC drawings, BOQs, equipment specs and installation processes.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from planning and execution through completion and handover.
• Coordinate installation of VRV/VRF, centralized AC, ducting, ventilation, chillers, and other HVAC systems.
• Prepare project execution plans, schedules, manpower requirements, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Supervise site teams, technicians, subcontractors, and installation activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved timelines and specifications.
• Ensure proper installation practices, quality standards, safety procedures, and technical compliance.
• Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment at project sites.
• Track project costs, material consumption, manpower, and overall project profitability.
• Identify and resolve technical or execution-related issues at the site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress updates to management and clients.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, measurements, and completion records.

Candidate Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in HVAC project execution.
• Strong experience in commercial HVAC, VRV/VRF, centralized AC, ducting, ventilation, or chiller projects.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and site teams.
• Good understanding of HVAC drawings, BOQs, equipment specifications, and installation processes.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-handling abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar project-related tools will be an advantage.
