Job summary

Maxic Arrow is seeking an HVAC Project Engineer to lead site execution on large-scale HVAC projects in Mumbai. The role requires strong experience in installation, commissioning, and coordination of chillers, AHU, FCU and VRF/VRV systems.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with sub-contractors, prepare BOQ and specifications, ensure safety and QA, and oversee handover with complete documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech Mechanical completed.
• 35 years in HVAC site execution with strong shop drawings, BOQ, ITP, testing & commissioning.
• Experience with chillers, AHU, FCU and VRF/VRV systems; able to coordinate ducting and piping.

Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings and review meetings, noting action points for implementation.
• End-to-end supervision of project site and regular design/project reviews.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently and ensure installation aligns with detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors to avoid deviations or rework.
• Prepare specifications and BOQ for procurement; maintain project files and documents.
• Conduct quantity surveying and provide details for bill preparation; ensure timely billing and collections.
• Oversee safety and quality; manage manpower and project reporting.
• Lead testing, commissioning and handover with proper documentation.

* Job Responsibilities:-

• Attending the site meetings/ review meetings of the Customer/Consultant, if required, and noting the points discussed for implementation
• End-to-end supervision of the project site & Carry out regular design and project reviews.
• Handling multiple projects at a time.
• Should be able to complete the installation activities as per the specification mentioned in the detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with various sub-contractors to ensure that there are no deviations or rework to be done
• Preparation of specifications and BOQ for procurement.
• Maintaining good quality of work and ensure safety precautions during project execution
• Timely Billing & collections to ensure adequate cash flow
• Manpower deployment and effective utilization.
• Receive, analyze and evaluate quotations suiting our requirements.
• Preparation & Maintenance of Project files and documents. Conduct quantity survey and provide details for bill preparation.
• Types of projects handled, Metro Depot & Stations, Commercial Buildings, Residential Building, Hospitals, restaurant, Industrial Building, shopping malls, etc.
• Independently Heat Load Calculation, Working Drawing preparation for HVAC, Fire Detection & Fire suppression System.
• Handling day to day operation of customer visits and understanding their requirements of existing and new customers
• Testing, Commissioning and handover of system with proper documentation. Role & responsibilities
