Job summary

Gayatri Aircon Pvt Ltd is seeking a seasoned HVAC project manager to lead complex installation projects across sites in India. You will plan detailed schedules, allocate resources, and supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires expert knowledge of HVAC components (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF, pumps), strong AutoCAD skills, and robust budgeting and risk management capabilities. Hindi/English proficiency and own travel are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for HVAC installations.
• Manage HVAC project sites ensuring alignment with bar charts and schedules.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and project estimates for accuracy and feasibility.
• Ensure installation and operation of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, VRF, ductable units).
• Lead and supervise on-site teams and subcontractors; coordinate with consultants and clients.
• Monitor budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure cost-effective execution.
• Prepare regular progress, budget, and milestone reports (MIS).
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement and logistics to ensure timely material delivery.
• Require own vehicle for site visits and travel.

Role & responsibilities :

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for HVAC installation projects.
• Manage HVAC project sites, ensuring execution aligns with the project bar chart and schedule
• Skilled in head load calculations, equipment selection, and BOQ preparation
• Strong knowledge of HVAC site operations, including reviewing drawings, BOQs, and project estimates.
• Ensure correct installation and operation of HVAC systems such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, chilled water pumps, VRF systems, and package ductable units.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for HVAC layouts and project documentation.
• Team Management: Lead and supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth coordination on-site.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure cost-effective project execution.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure installation meets industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
• Procurement & Logistics: Coordinate the procurement of HVAC equipment and materials and manage timely delivery to site.
• Collaborate with the procurement/purchase department to guarantee timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to achieve timely project completion and optimal resource utilization.
• Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for GAPL, updating them regularly on progress, issues, and solutions.
• Coordinate efficiently with consultants, architects, clients, and contractors.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular project reports, including progress, budget status, and milestones.
• Prepare and submit regular MIS reports to management.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all HVAC installations comply with legal, environmental, and safety standards.
• Vehicle Requirement for Site Visits: Must possess own vehicle for site visits and project-related travel.
• Salary : Annum CTC: 6,00,000 to 8,40,000 per annum
