Job summary

Mahadeva HVAC Services is seeking an experienced Project Engineer - HVAC to manage and execute HVAC projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate installations, testing, commissioning, and documentation while ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety.

This role requires strong leadership of site teams and close collaboration with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC project execution experience, a mechanical engineering

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution.
• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; HVAC certification is a plus.
• Experience with commercial, residential, industrial or large-scale HVAC projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor HVAC projects at client sites.
• Coordinate HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Supervise site engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, schematics, and specs.
• Ensure installations meet approved drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Prepare project reports, checklists, and measurement sheets.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues.
• Coordinate with procurement for materials and equipment at site.
• Ensure quality and safety standards compliance.
• Attend client meetings and provide project updates.

Job Summary

Mahadeva HVAC is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Project Engineer - HVAC with 3+ years of experience to manage and execute HVAC projects from planning through completion. The candidate will be responsible for project coordination, site execution, installation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and ensuring projects are completed within the required time, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor HVAC projects at client sites.
• Coordinate HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Supervise site engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure HVAC equipment and systems are installed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, checklists, measurement sheets, and other documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues or installation discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for materials and equipment required at site.
• Ensure materials received at site meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, estimates, and material requirements when required.
• Conduct testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and project quality standards.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
• Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Ensure project work is completed within the approved schedule and budget.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation.
• Good understanding of VRF/VRV, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Ducting, Ventilation, and Split AC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC design, drawings, and project execution.
• Ability to read AutoCAD HVAC drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC testing and commissioning procedures.
• Understanding of ducting, piping, insulation, and related HVAC works.
• Knowledge of project planning and site management.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in HVAC projects.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Additional HVAC certification will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, or large-scale HVAC projects is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in site supervision and client coordination will be preferred.
