Job summary

Unity Multicons is seeking a seasoned construction project engineer/manager to lead planning, site execution, and cross-functional coordination for complex projects in Maharashtra. You will develop detailed plans, allocate resources, supervise site teams, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and work programs.
• Allocate resources including labour, materials, and machinery in alignment with project needs.
• Develop project execution strategies to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints.
• Conduct risk assessments and plan mitigation measures.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and labour teams.
• Maintain strict control over quality of construction, workmanship, and site conditions.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and monitor stock levels.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, structural engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Organize and participate in project review meetings.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding project progress, challenges, and requirements.
• Coordinate with clients to understand expectations and ensure project satisfaction.
• Implement and oversee QA/QC processes.
• Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audit site activities for safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with government rules, local regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and reduce wastage.
• Verify contractor bills, work orders, and material approvals.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, MIS reports, and site documentation.
• Track project timelines and ensure scheduling adherence.
• Identify site issues, delays, or conflicts and take corrective actions promptly.
• Resolve technical and operational issues with practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain discipline and ensure smooth workflow among site staff and contractors.
• Train, guide, and support site teams for efficient project execution.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a professional, safe, and productive work environment.
