Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution:
  • Oversee daily construction tasks, structural work; and concrete pours according to approved drawings & specifications.
  • Set out site coordinates, levels, and structural layouts.
  • Supervise site labour, contractor to ensure target deadlines are met.
• Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QA/QC):
  • Inspect raw materials (cement, steel, aggregates) and review test reports (cube testing, slump test, and tensile test).
  • Ensure strict compliance with structural standards, local building codes, and standard engineering specifications.
  • Prepare and process Checklists (RFI - Request for Inspection) before every major concrete pour or structural installation.
• Resource Management & Progress Tracking:
  • Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), weekly schedules, and material reconciliations. Maintaining and updating all site records as per HAL Works Manual & tender documents.
  • Track material usage to prevent wastage and ensure timely procurement requests.
• Technical Coordination & Problem Solving:
  • Interpret GFC (Good for Construction) structural and architectural drawings.
  • Identify design discrepancies on-site early and coordinate with structural engineers/architects for resolution.
  • Billing activities including measurement of work done at site.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols on site.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure 100% adherence to PPE usage.
