Job summary

Shivraj Associates in Pune district is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from initiation to handover. You will ensure adherence to time, cost, quality, and safety parameters while liaising with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

The role requires strong site management, coordination of schedules, review of drawings and BOQ, material procurement, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil required; other qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed within the approved time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor overall project progress and ensure timely execution as per the approved schedule.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, work plans, and milestones.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, billing, accounts, and site teams.
• Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor material procurement, delivery, and availability at site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely execution of work.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and resource utilization.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify project delays, risks, and issues and take corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide project progress updates to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Review contractor bills, measurements, variations, and additional/extra works.
• Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Maintain proper project documentation, reports, and records.
• Lead and motivate the project team to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure timely completion and successful handover of the project to the client.
