Role & responsibilities

Design and Engineering Coordination

• Coordination with the Consultant and Architects for Drawings clearance as per Project schedule and Construction Priorities.
• Actively contributing to design coordination meetings and assign responsibilities to internal and external stakeholders for planned design and Engineering activities.
• Coordinate with Vendors for preparation and approval of shop drawings as per requirements of principal/ Executive Architects.
• Ensuring the project's Design compliance with the applicable codes, practices, performance standards, and specifications
• Understand Project WBS & Project Execution plan
• Review estimates and BOQs prepared by Architects and Engineering Consultants.
• Must have knowledge of Project Budget Management and Analysis, Preparation of BOQ, Estimation, Cost Break up, Rate analysis as per approved drawings and specifications.

Contracts Management

• Preparation of Tender Documents/ Enquiries with the Detailed Specifications as per project requirement.
• Technical Evaluation of offers from Vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Contracting team for appointment of contractors / consultants and monitor / control their scope of work.
• Onboarding vendors and suppliers, holding Kick off Meetings and maintain routine communication with Vendors and suppliers.
• Tracking Execution changes and ensuring timely amendment of orders with supporting documents.

Vendor Management

• Checking the preliminary performance of the vendor.
• Keep meeting the contractor during site visit and discussing with them about the progress, execution issues and other issues
• Taking immediate action in case if the contractor/Supplier is making complaints /grievances.
• Ensuring the bill certifications are happening as per the work executed
• Ensuring the bills are process with proper supporting documents like JMR

Site Coordination with Execution team

• Ensuring the weekly progress review as per schedule.
• Inspect the executed works, periodically with the site engineer & contractor
• Ensure the works are executed as per standard practice and as per the design finalized
• Discuss with the project head about the progress, schedule on weekly basis
• Make proper documentation while handing over.
• Has to guide the team to coordinate between the purchase team & the supplier/ vendor to track changes and order amendment.

MIS / Reports Preparation

• Prepare various project progress reports and update them on regular basis
• Perform overall project management (Scope, budget, schedule, plans, personnels performance, critical issues, deliverables, risk assessment) and report regularly on project status
• Prepare Monthly reports for Project Construction progress showing look ahead plans.
