Job summary

Veerya Attachments in Karnataka seeks a Production Supervisor for Unit 2 to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, plan and control production, and optimize machine utilization across CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, bandsaw, lathe and drilling.

Responsibilities include manpower and shift planning, overtime monitoring, driving OEE improvements, coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, PPC and Stores, and ensuring safety and quality procedures while meeting targets and prioritizing urgent customer

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for Unit 2 production and manufacturing operations.
• Plan and control daily, weekly and monthly production.
• Manage CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, bandsaw, lathe and drilling operations.
• Ensure achievement of production targets, productivity and machine utilization.
• Prepare manpower and shift plans according to production requirements.
• Monitor and control overtime and manpower utilization.
• Improve OEE, cycle time, machine utilization and productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores and other departments.
• Ensure reduction of rejection, rework, machine downtime and process losses.
• Monitor machine-wise and operator-wise performance.
• Develop multi-skilled manpower and improve operator flexibility.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and production procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Conduct daily production review meetings and monitor action points.
• Handle production-related customer requirements and urgent priorities.
