Job summary

Narasipur Auto Components is seeking a supervisor to direct and manage plant engineering, oversee new product development and maintenance activities, and ensure process conformity with SOP on the shop floor.

The role requires supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, with knowledge of process improvement and 5S practices. Diploma holders with relevant background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or 5–10 years manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Broad technical or administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage plant engineering with responsibility for new product development and maintenance activities.
• Monitor processes per SOP and report production quantity and quality issues to the supervisor.
• Conduct 1st off approvals and in-process inspections; maintain 5S on the shop floor.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary & Key Objectives

Direct and manage all plant engineering with overall responsibilities for new product development & maintenance-related activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Run and monitor the process as per SOP.
• Inform the production quantity and quality issues to the supervisor.
• Cleaning Of Machine.
• Updating Daily PM Check list.
• Inform Maint. Engr. If any nonconformity.
• Verification of Poka yoke is working.
• Updating Production Log Book shift wise.
• Tool life monitoring as per CNC Program
• Updating Control Charts at their stations.
• If any abnormality correct with supervisor.
• Conducting1st off Approval & In-process Inspection.
• Approve 1st off Approval from Supervisor.
• Storing 1st piece till the end of shift.
• Usage of product status identification Tags for WIP-ACCEPTED, NC, REJECTION
• respectively.
• Verifying the gauge status at their station.
• Posting Suggestion & Ideas for Improvement & Problem Solving.
• Maintaining 5S activity in respective area.
• Safe material handling on shop floor.

Preferred Qualification & Education

1. Requires a Diploma in mechanical in a technical field, or 5 to 10 years of manufacturing experience and responsibilities,

2. 3 of which must be in a supervisory capacity.

3. Requires broad technical or administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.

4. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required
