Job summary

Hyderabad-based Mouri Tech LLC seeks an L2 Network Engineer to support enterprise network infrastructure across Cisco, HPE, Palo Alto, F5, and edge tunnel solutions. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents while performing routine maintenance and configuration under guidance.

The role covers routing, security, load balancing, wireless, and remote access tunnels with focus on incident handling and change management using ServiceNow or Jira.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of network operations experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco IOS, HPE Comware/Aruba, basic Palo Alto, and F5 concepts.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, DHCP, DNS.
• CCNA/HCNA/PCNSE-Associate level knowledge preferred.
• SD-WAN detailed understanding Velo cloud & Cisco Viptila.
• VXLAN for Aruba and Nexus.
• Routing protocols: BGP, IBGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Migration of EOSL devices to current gear.
• WIFI HPE solution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support L2/L3 network devices.
• Handle VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Perform interface, port-channel, and routing diagnostics.
• Apply standard configuration changes under guidance.
• Monitor firewall performance, sessions, and security alerts.
• Troubleshoot VPN connectivity (Site-to-Site / Remote Access).
• Support for URL filtering, IPS signatures, and security profiles.
• Monitor VIP, pool, node health, and traffic flow (F5).
• Assist with iRule changes, certificate updates, and LTM profiles.
• Basic troubleshooting for F5 HA sync, failover issues.
• Monitor APs, controllers, and client connectivity.
• Troubleshoot RF issues, captive portal login, and SSID problems.
• Monitor SD-WAN tunnels, GRE/IPSec tunnels, and failovers.
• Troubleshoot intermittent tunnel issues.
• Work within ServiceNow or Jira to resolve incidents promptly.
• Execute approved change tasks during maintenance windows.
• Document RCA for recurring issues.

Role Overview

The L2 Network Engineer provides operational support for enterprise network infrastructure across multiple vendor technologies including Cisco, HPE, Palo Alto, F5 Load Balancers, and Edge Tunnel solutions. This role focuses on monitoring, incident resolution, configuration support, and routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Routing & Switching (Cisco OR HPE)

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support L2/L3 network devices.
• Handle VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Perform interface, port-channel, and routing diagnostics.
• Apply standard configuration changes under guidance.

2. Network Security (Palo Alto OR Cisco ASA OR HPE Security Platforms)

• Monitor firewall performance, sessions, and security alerts.
• Basic configuration of security policies, NAT, and objects.
• Troubleshoot VPN connectivity (Site-to-Site / Remote Access).
• Support for URL filtering, IPS signatures, and security profiles.

3. Load Balancing (F5 Networks LTM, GTM)

• Monitor VIP, pool, node health, and traffic flow.
• Assist with iRule changes, certificate updates, and LTM profiles.
• Basic troubleshooting for F5 HA sync, failover issues.

4. Wireless Networking (Cisco OR HPE Aruba)

• Monitor APs, controllers, and client connectivity.
• Troubleshoot RF issues, captive portal login, and SSID problems.

5. Edge Tunnels OR Remote Access

• Monitor SD-WAN tunnels, GRE/IPSec tunnels, and failovers.
• Troubleshoot intermittent or degraded tunnel issues.

6. Incident & Change Management

• Work within ServiceNow or Jira to resolve incidents promptly.
• Execute approved change tasks during maintenance windows.
• Document RCA for recurring issues.
