Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of experience in Network Administration and Operations Support.
• CCNA/CCNP preferred; Aruba Certified Associate; ITIL Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, SLA-based escalations.
• Administer routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Configure VLANs, routing/switching, and security policies.
• Perform health checks, capacity planning, and upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain CMDB and operational documentation.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity for network.

Job Description: Network Administrator (L2)

Level: L2 Administrator / Senior Analyst

About the Role

The Network Administrator will be part of a 24x7 Infrastructure Operations team responsible for the administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network environments. The role focuses on ensuring network availability, performance, security, and compliance with service-level agreements. The administrator will support LAN, WAN, Data Center, and Campus networking infrastructure while collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, service requests, and escalations within SLA.
• Administer and support routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, switching, and network security policies.
• Perform network health checks, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Implement approved network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management processes.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities related to network infrastructure.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Experience

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Network Administration and Operations Support.
