Job summary

VandewieleSavio India Private Limited, a global textile machinery leader, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive concept design and development of advanced mechanical components and systems for textile machines. You will use CAD tools to model, prototype, and validate designs, ensuring performance and reliability.

• Degree in Mechanical or Textiles Engineering; 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on prototyping and development experience.
• Proficient with CAD tools for 2D/3D modeling and simulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute the complete product development cycle from concept generation to prototyping and testing.
• Independently design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD tools such as Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Execute the prototype, assemble, and validate mechanical systems for performance and reliability.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, and detailed design reviews.
• Coordinate with production teams to understand designs are manufacturable and meet industrial standards.
• Supporting troubleshooting and resolving design and manufacturing challenges with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Work with Team Leads to enhance component performance and ensure cost optimization.
• Work toward continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machine design and performance.
