Executive / Senior Executive Human Resources
Home Textile Manufacturing
Position Overview
Responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, payroll, statutory compliance, recruitment, employee engagement, and retention activities in a home textile manufacturing environment. The role requires strong coordination skills and hands-on experience in HR systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and master data.
- Handle employee queries and provide timely HR support.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, transfers, confirmations, and exit formalities.
2. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timely closure.
- Handle PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and other applicable statutory deductions and contributions.
- Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and employee changes.
- Reconcile payroll data and coordinate with Finance for salary processing.
3. Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for shop-floor and support functions.
- Understand manpower requirements and coordinate with department heads for hiring.
- Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, consultants, walk-ins, and other channels.
- Conduct initial screening, interview coordination, selection, and offer/onboarding processes.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and monitor hiring TAT.
4. Employee Retention & Engagement
- Support initiatives focused on employee retention and engagement.
- Identify employee concerns and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Conduct employee interactions, feedback sessions, and engagement activities.
- Analyze attrition trends and support corrective action plans.
5. Compliance & Statutory
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Support statutory filings, inspections, audits, and documentation.
- Maintain required HR and statutory records.
- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders for compliance-related matters.
6. HR Systems & MIS
- Maintain HR data and generate periodic HR MIS and management reports.
- Work effectively with ERP / HRMS systems for employee, attendance, payroll, and HR transactions.
- Prepare reports related to headcount, absenteeism, attrition, hiring, payroll, and other HR metrics.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Payroll, PF & ESI
- Good understanding of Recruitment & Hiring
- Experience in employee retention and engagement
- Exposure to labour law, statutory and HR compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience working with ERP / HRMS systems
- Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing / shop-floor environment
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: MBA /MSW/ PG Diploma / Graduate in HR, Personnel Management, or related discipline.
- Experience: 2–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in Home Textile / Textile / Manufacturing / Factory environments.
