Job summary

MALABAR GOLD & DIAMONDS in Karnataka is seeking a store technician to manage electrical systems, maintain equipment, and support jewelry sales when needed. The role involves knowledge of electrical circuits, switch boards, and basic maintenance to ensure smooth store operations.

Responsibilities include operating AC and Generator, reducing electricity consumption, and coordinating with suppliers for rapid repairs.

Qualifications

• Operate AC and Generator and ensure proper functioning.
• Initiate measures to reduce electrical consumption.
• Maintain AMC of all equipment in the store.
• Coordinate with supplier to rectify equipment quickly.
• Respond to maintenance service requests, including air filters and smoke detectors.
• Advise business stakeholders on maintaining electrical appliances in store.
• Assist in jewelry sales when required.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Obtain knowledge of electrical circuits, switch boards, etc. in the store to operate all electrical and electronic equipment and do the basic maintenance of the same.

Operate AC & Generator and take adequate measures required for the proper functioning of the same.

Initiate measures to reduce the electrical consumption of the store, like switching off the unwanted bulbs, unused machines etc.

Responsible to maintain the AMC of all equipment in the store

. Deal with the supplier company and take measures to rectify the equipment in case of operation failure as soon as possible.

Respond to requests for maintenance services, including r replacing air filters, installing new locks and troubleshooting smoke detectors.

Provide the business stakeholders with advice and guidance on maintaining electrical appliances in store.

Respond to requests from managers and provide maintenance & repair services in MGD Store as needed.

Assist in jewelry sales as & when required or as instructed by the Management.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should be have ITI Electrician certificate and candidate should fixable to do sales when there is no electric work Incentives given according
