Job summary

Gavins Hyderabad is seeking a mid-level Electrical Maintenance Technician to supervise daily electrical upkeep across stores, offices, and warehouses. The role is hybrid and permanent, requiring hands-on coordination with internal and external teams to keep systems safe and reliable.

You will oversee electrical installations, preventive maintenance, fault resolution, and energy-management efforts, reporting to the facilities management team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day electrical maintenance at stores, office and warehouse.
• Ensure electrical equipment, wiring, panels, DBs, switches, lights and connections are safe and functioning.
• Attend electrical breakdowns promptly and minimise downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internal electricians, technicians, contractors and external service providers.
• Monitor and maintain electrical safety standards per company procedures.
• Inspect panels, MCBs, ELCBs, earthing, generators, UPS systems regularly.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, breakdowns and replacements.
• Identify faults quickly and implement effective corrective actions.
• Monitor electricity consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
• Ensure inventory of electrical spares, tools and consumables.
• Verify material requirements and coordinate with Admin/Stores for procurement.
• Supervise electrical installations during new store setups, renovations and maintenance.
• Enforce strict safety protocols for electricians and contractors during work.
• Coordinate with management during emergency electrical situations.
• Inspect and verify quality of work by third-party vendors and contractors.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned maintenance work orders and tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive daily maintenance reports and submit updates to management.
