Job summary

Gavins Hyderabad is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance supervisor to oversee day-to-day electrical activities across stores, offices, and warehouses. The role involves supervising installations, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and quick resolution of breakdowns in a hybrid work environment.

You will coordinate with internal electricians, technicians, and external contractors, maintain records, monitor energy use, and assist with procurement of parts and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day electrical maintenance activities at stores, office, warehouse, and other company premises.
• Ensure all electrical equipment, wiring, panels, DBs, switches, lights, AC power connections, and other installations arefunctioning properly and safe.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns promptly and resolve issues with minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate effectively with internal electricians, technicians, contractors, and external service providers.
• Monitor and maintain electrical safety standards, ensuring full compliance with company procedures.
• Inspect electrical panels, MCBs, ELCBs, earthing, generators, UPS systems, and associated machinery on a scheduledbasis.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, routine maintenance, breakdowns, and material replacements.
• Identify electrical faults quickly and execute effective corrective measures.
• Monitor electricity consumption and implement energy-saving measures across facilities.
• Ensure adequate inventory and stock availability of electrical spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Verify material requirements and coordinate with the Admin/Stores department for timely procurement.
• Supervise electrical installations during new store setups, renovations, shifting, and maintenance projects.
• Enforce strict safety protocols for electricians and external contractors during execution of work.
• Coordinate directly with management during emergency electrical situations.
• Inspect and verify the quality of work completed by third-party vendors and external contractors.
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned maintenance work orders and tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive daily maintenance reports and submit periodic updates to management.
