Job summary

Cyfuture is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support professional to install, configure, and maintain desktops and peripherals at our Noida site. You will provide hardware, software, and network support, troubleshoot OS issues, and manage user accounts and access controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
• Experience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral devices.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems: ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice.
• Proficiency with remote desktop support tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
• Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating system problems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
• Install, configure, and update applications and software as per organizational requirements.
• Set up user accounts, email clients, and access permissions.
• Diagnose and repair hardware issues or coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues across LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet access.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
