You will identify IPO-ready companies, engage with promoters, and convert opportunities into mandates for execution by the merchant banking team. The role leads a BD team, shapes outreach, and builds a robust pipeline of capital market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 years in investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance, or financial advisory.
• MBA / CA / CFA is required or preferred.
• Strong networking ability and leadership skills are essential.

Role Overview

We are expanding our Investment Banking – IPO Origination team and are looking for an entrepreneurial AVP – Business Development who can build relationships with high growth companies and help bring them to the public markets. The VP will lead a business development team responsible for identifying IPO ready companies, engaging with promoters, and converting opportunities into IPO mandates for execution by the firm's merchant banking team.
