Job summary

Michael Page is representing a leading Indian building construction and EPC organization in Mumbai seeking a Vice President - Project Execution to lead a portfolio of Design & Build building projects with strong growth potential.

Reporting to the senior leadership, you will drive end-to-end project execution across multiple concurrent projects, ensure timelines, quality, profitability, and safety while mentoring senior project leaders.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 25+ years of experience in large building construction and EPC.
• Experience managing project portfolios ₹2,000-3,000 Crores.
• Strong exposure to Design & Build project delivery.
• Experience across high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare or similar projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of Design & Build building projects with an aggregate value of ₹3,500 Crores.
• Drive end-to-end project execution across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure timelines, quality standards, profitability, billing targets, and safety.
• Provide leadership across planning, project controls, billing, cost management, procurement, MEP, design management, BIM, formwork, reinforcement, and plant & machinery.
• Develop recovery plans and resource deployment strategies to improve performance.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, PMCs, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Drive governance, risk management and productivity improvements across the portfolio.
• Build and mentor high-performing project leadership teams.

Job Description

Reporting into the senior leadership team, the Vice President - Project Execution will be responsible for:

• Leading a portfolio of Design & Build building projects with an aggregate value of approximately ₹3,500 Crores.
• Driving end-to-end project execution across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensuring achievement of project timelines, quality standards, profitability, billing targets, and safety objectives.
• Providing leadership across planning, project controls, billing, cost management, procurement, MEP, design management, BIM, formwork, reinforcement, and plant & machinery functions.
• Developing recovery plans, resource deployment strategies, and execution frameworks to improve project performance.
• Managing relationships with clients, consultants, PMCs, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Driving operational excellence, governance, risk management, and productivity improvements across the project portfolio.
• Building and mentoring high-performing project leadership teams while creating a strong culture of accountability and execution excellence.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should possess:

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 25+ years of experience within large building construction and EPC organizations.
• Proven experience managing project portfolios exceeding ₹2,000-3,000 Crores.
• Strong exposure to Design & Build project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience across high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, institutional, hospitality, airport, mixed-use, or similar building projects.
• Strong leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across execution, planning, MEP, design, procurement, and commercial functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities with exposure to clients, consultants, PMCs, and senior business leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen, project controls expertise, and resource optimization capabilities.
• Candidates from leading construction and EPC organizations preferred.
