Job summary

Ahluwalia Contracts seeks a Senior Construction Leader to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of multiple EPC/building projects, ensuring timely completion within budget while upholding quality and safety. You will drive planning, resource optimization and team leadership to achieve business objectives.

The role requires 20+ years in large EPC/building projects, with experience handling projects over 1000 crore and a portfolio of 3,000 crore+.

Qualifications

• Dip./B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• M.Tech or MBA (Project Management/Construction Management) preferred.
• PMP, Primavera (P6), or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor multiple EPC/building construction projects simultaneously from mobilization to handing over.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within approved budget, and as per contractual specifications.
• Review project schedules, construction methodologies, and resource deployment plans.
• Ensure coordination among Civil, MEP, Planning, QA/QC, Safety, Commercial, Procurement, and Contracts teams.
• Monitor project profitability, cash flow, cost control, and budget utilization.
• Review project P&L, cost-to-complete, and variance analysis.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and government authorities.
• Plan manpower deployment across projects.
• Review manpower productivity and succession planning.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Commercial teams for timely material availability.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and contractual compliance.

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for achieving business objectives through effective project planning, execution, resource optimization, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead and monitor multiple EPC/building construction projects simultaneously from mobilization to handing over.

• 20+ years of experience in large EPC/building construction projects.

• Experience handling projects exceeding 1000 crore individually and a portfolio of 3,000 crore or more is preferred.
• Strong exposure to High-Rise Buildings, Commercial Complexes, Airports, Hospitals, Data Centres, Institutional Buildings, Industrial, or Infrastructure
