DBS Bank Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Syndication Lead to drive the end-to-end execution of debt syndication transactions.

The role requires leveraging an extensive network of Indian banks to distribute deals and collaborating with coverage, product, and risk teams across regions to deliver comprehensive financing solutions. The candidate will provide market insights, pricing benchmarks, and structuring advice to clients and internal partners, enabling revenue growth for the Syndication

• Extensive experience in loan syndication and leading deals across credit profiles and structures.
• Deep knowledge of FCY and INR transaction mechanics and markets.
• Established relationships with Indian banks and financial institutions for deal distribution.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to work effectively in a multi-geographic and multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the origination, structuring, and end-to-end execution of debt syndication transactions.
• Drive revenue growth and business development for the Syndication franchise across India and the Middle East.
• Utilize network and access to Indian banks to effectively distribute syndicated deals.
• Collaborate with coverage, product, and risk teams across different geographies to deliver comprehensive financing solutions.
• Provide market insights, pricing benchmarks, and structuring advice to clients and internal partners.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in loan syndication, with a proven track record of leading deals across credit profile/structured deals
• In-depth knowledge of the syndication landscape, including expertise in Foreign Currency (FCY) and Indian Rupee (INR) transactions.
• Established relationships and access to Indian banks and financial institutions for deal distribution.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness and adaptability to work effectively within a multi-geographic and multicultural team.
• Strong financial analysis, structuring, and credit assessment capabilities.
