Job summary

Go Digit General Insurance seeks a Vertical Head (Agency) to supervise the agency business delivery for a branch in Indore. The role drives topline growth, agent recruitment, activation, and portfolio diversification across motor, non-motor, and health products.

The candidate should have 7+ years in GI with agency/retail broking, strong leadership, negotiation, and Excel skills. You will lead a team of relationships managers and ensure compliance with IRDAI licensing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve monthly topline targets through agency vertical
• Diversify portfolio into motor, non-motor, health products for the location
• Achieve business goals and revenue targets
• Drive recruitment of agents through team members as per targets set
• Coordinate with team to ensure month on month activation of agents as per targets set
• Manage individual targets for agent recruitment, activation and premium if any
• Responsible for achieving overall GWP (Gross Written Premium)
• Responsible for sustainable profitability
• Maintain COR at budgeted levels
• Combined Ratio- Minimizing Loss & Cost of Acquisition
• Ensure IRDAI compliance regarding licensing
• Handle a team of relationships managers
• Train team on products, process and USPs of Company
• Identify areas of improvement & enhance business opportunities
• Explore & identify new business avenues by leads & networking
• Resolve discrepancies raised by Underwriter and issue policies at branch level
• Analyze and resolve rejections of policy related issues
