Crescendo Global is seeking an experienced Vertical Head – Agency for Raipur to drive agency and retail broking growth, lead a talented team, and expand the agency network in the General Insurance space.

The role focuses on delivering revenue, managing relationships, and ensuring profitability across Motor, Non-Motor and Health products, with a strong emphasis on premium generation and portfolio diversification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in General Insurance, Agency or Retail Broking.
• Graduate qualification; Insurance graduates preferred.
• Strong agency management, agent recruitment, activation and premium generation.
• Good understanding of GWP, profitability, Combined Ratio and targets.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly topline, revenue and GWP targets via Agency vertical.
• Recruit and activate agents through the team; meet targets.
• Lead a team of Relationship Managers; train on products, processes and USPs.
• Drive portfolio diversification across Motor, Non-Motor and Health.
• Ensure profitability, maintain COR at budgeted levels, and resolve underwriting issues at branch.
