Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Indore is seeking a Senior Vertical Head (Agency) to supervise the agency delivery for the branch, driving topline growth and expanding the portfolio across motor, non-motor, and health products.

You will lead a team of relationships managers, recruit agents, activate them on targets, and ensure profitability while maintaining COR at budgeted levels and IRDAI licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in GI insurance in Agency / Retail Broking.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve monthly topline targets through agency vertical.
• Diversify portfolio into motor, non-motor, health products for the location.
• Achieve business goals and revenue targets.
• Recruit agents through team members as per targets set.
• Coordinate with team to activate agents month-on-month as per targets.
• Manage targets for agent recruitment, activation and premium.
• Achieve overall GWP and sustainable profitability.
• Maintain COR at budgeted levels and minimize combined ratio.
• Ensure IRDAI licensing compliance.
• Handle a team of relationships managers.
• Train team on products, processes and USPs of the company.
• Identify improvements and new business opportunities through networking.
• Resolve policy-related rejections with underwriters.

Position Description

A Vertical Head (Agency) is primarily responsible to supervise the business delivery under agencyvertical for a branch.

Scope of work

• Drive and achieve monthly topline targetsthrough agency vertical
• Ensure diversification of portfolio into motor,non-motor, health products for the location they are managing
• Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
• Drive recruitment of agents through team membersas per targets set
• Coordinate with team to ensure month on monthactivation of agents as per targets set
• Manage individual targets for agent recruitment,activation and premium if any

• Combined Ratio- Minimizing Loss & Cost of Acquisition
• Ensuring IRDAI compliance regarding licensing
• Handling a team of relationships managers.
• Train team on products, process and USPs of Company
• Identify the area of improvement & enhancingbusiness opportunity
• Responsible for explorations & identificationof new business avenues by way of business leads & networking.
• Resolve the discrepancies raised by the Underwriterand issue policies at branch level.
• Analysing and resolving the rejections of policyrelated issues
