Loop Service, LLC in Chandigarh (Onsite) is hiring Transportation Generalists to train across the freight brokerage workflow and place you in the role that best fits your strengths. You will be exposed to Carrier Sales, Account Coordinator, Track & Trace, Carrier Onboarding, and Operations Support.

Roles operate on US hours (night shift IST) with full training provided. Freshers and those with English proficiency are encouraged to apply, with a clear path to Team Lead and specialist positions.

About Us

Loop Service supports US freight brokerages and third-party logistics (3PL) companies from our onsite office in Chandigarh. Our teams handle the daily work that keeps loads moving: finding trucks, booking carriers, tracking shipments, and keeping customers informed.

We are growing across several transportation functions at once. Rather than post a separate opening for each, we are hiring Transportation Generalists and placing each person in the role that best fits their strengths.

The Role

As a Transportation Generalist, you will be trained across the freight brokerage workflow and placed into one of the roles below. Strong performers can move between roles as the business grows.

What you'll focus on

• Carrier Onboarding / Compliance

All roles work US hours (night shift IST).

Responsibilities

Core duties shared across all roles:

• Communicate daily with US carriers, drivers, dispatchers and customers by phone, email and chat
• Use the TMS and load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) to manage loads accurately
• Keep load records, notes and documents current at every stage
• Spot problems early (late pickups, missed appointments, rate disputes) and elevate or fix them
• Hit daily targets for calls, loads covered, updates sent or accuracy
• Work as part of a team handing off loads across the shift

Role-specific duties:

• Carrier Sales: post and search loads, call carriers, negotiate rates within margin targets, book and confirm loads, build a network of repeat carriers
• Account Coordinator: enter and build customer loads, respond to quote requests, send proactive status updates, handle customer issues and requests
• Track & Trace: check calls with drivers, update ETAs and locations, manage appointment changes, alert customers to delays
• Carrier Onboarding: verify MC/DOT authority, insurance certificates and safety ratings; flag fraud or double-brokering risks
• Operations Support: collect PODs and paperwork, prepare billing files, maintain data quality and reports

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate in any discipline
• Strong spoken and written English, comfortable on calls with US customers and carriers
• Willing to work night shift (US hours) onsite in Chandigarh
• Confident on the phone, organized, and able to manage several tasks at once
• Working knowledge of email, Excel/Google Sheets and web-based tools

Preferred:

• 1+ year in US logistics, freight brokerage, trucking dispatch or a voice-based BPO process
• Experience with a TMS or load boards (DAT, Truckstop)
• Familiarity with US geography, equipment types (dry van, reefer, flatbed) and freight terms
• Sales or negotiation experience (for Carrier Sales placements)
