Avenir International Engineers & Consultants is seeking a Process Engineer with 7–11 years of experience for our Chennai (Thousand Lights) site. The role focuses on delivering PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs, and HMB, along with simulation studies using Aspen HYSYS/Aspen Plus for steady-state and dynamic analysis.

You will size PSVs, design relief systems, and perform depressurization studies in line with API 520/521 and ADNOC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in process engineering and delivering process deliverables.
• Familiarity with process simulations using Aspen HYSYS/Aspen Plus for steady-state and dynamic analysis.
• Knowledge of PSV sizing, relief system design, depressurization studies per API 520/521 and ADNOC guidelines.
• Ability to perform pump hydraulics, line hydraulics, and vessel sizing calculations.
• Experience in preparing datasheets for pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, and coolers.
• Experience with Alarm & Trip lists, Cause and Effect diagrams.
• Development of Control, Startup, Operating, ESD, and Blowdown philosophies.
• Proficiency in surge analysis and steady-state analysis.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-discipline teams and participate in HAZOP/SIL and 3D model reviews.
• Understanding of ADNOC standards, API codes, ASME, Shell DEP and project requirements.
• Coordination with clients, third-party consultants, and engineering contractors.

• Support HAZOP, SIL, 3D model reviews and process safety assessments.
• Ensure deliverables comply with ADNOC standards, API, ASME, Shell DEP.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrument, and safety teams for integrated design.
• Contribute to scheduling, progress reporting, and quality within process discipline.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants.

• Support and participate in HAZOP, SIL, 3D model reviews, and other process safety assessments.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with ADNOC standards, API codes, ASME, Shell DEP, and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrument, and safety teams for integrated design development.
