Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Process Engineer with a strong foundation in chemical engineering and petrochemical processes. The role emphasizes performing simulation studies, producing heat and mass balance sheets, and developing PFDs/P&IDs under the guidance of lead engineers.

Responsibilities include equipment sizing, datasheet preparation, and hydraulic calculations to support contract execution. The candidate should hold a BTech and an MTech, with hands-on experience in process simulations,

Qualifications

• BTech and MTech in relevant field.
• Experience with heat and mass balance, process simulations, hydraulic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulation studies and develop heat and mass balance sheet.
• Size of equipment, instruments and lines.
• Prepare PFD and P&ID.
• Prepare datasheets for rotating, static and instruments.
• Estimate power load.
• Prepare engineering documents, reports and operating manuals.
• Prepare SAFE charts and Cause & Effect diagrams.
• Flare, blowdown & depressurization calculations.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for network lines.
• Provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution.
• Ensure documents/deliverables are complete before issue.
• Coordinate with fellow engineers for smooth progress.
• Close audit findings timely.
• Provide inputs to relevant disciplines and designers.
• Identify inputs for Need list and Hold list.

Job Description

Performing Simulation studies and developing Heat & Mass Balance sheet

• Sizing of Equipment, Instrument and Lines
• Preparation of PFD, P&ID
• Preparation of Datasheets for Rotating, Static and Instruments
• Estimation of Power load
• Preparation of Engineering documents, reports & Operating manual
• Preparation of SAFE Charts, Cause & Effect Diagram
• Flare, Blowdown & Depressurization calculations
• Performing Hydraulic calculation of network lines

To provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution.

• To be responsible for all the work with reference to a document/deliverables and/or activity assigned to him.
• To ensure that the documents/deliverables, generated, are in order before issuing it to others.
• To anticipate and discuss any potential delays and problems, if a with the Lead Engineer
• To co-ordinate with the fellow Job Engineers and Lead Engineers for smooth progress of the contract
• To close audit findings in a timely manner.
• To provide inputs as and when required to the relevant disciplines and to designers
• To identify the inputs required for Need list and Hold list and update
