Job summary

Gas Processing Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Manager - Process in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in process engineering, responsible for reviewing specifications, process simulation, and engineering rotary equipment.

The role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in process calculations, including HTRI. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Hands-on experience in process calculations including simulation and heat mass balance.
• Knowledge of HTRI calculation.

Responsibilities

• Review customer PDS and process specifications.
• Process simulation using WINSIM or equivalent.
• Engineering and packaging of rotary equipment.
• Development of control narratives and interlocks for PLC/DCS.
• Attend HAZOP meetings.

Job description

Role: Manager - Process

Location: Pune

Department: Engineering

Reporting to: Department Head

Academic Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering – Chemical

Years of Work Ex: 12 to 15 years

Responsibilities

• Review and interpretation of customer PDS and process specifications included in the PR.
• Process simulation using WINSIM or equivalent simulation software.
• Development of HMD, PFD, P&ID and package datasheets.
• Engineering and packaging of rotary equipment such as screw compressors and pumps.
• Process and thermal sizing of heat exchangers using HTRI.
• Sizing of pipelines, process equipment, control valves, safety valves, filters, separators, adsorber vessels, distillation columns.
• Development of control narratives, interlocks etc. for PLC / DCS.
• Interacting with various other disciplines of engineering after project kick-off.
• Interacting with customer, EPCM and engineering consultants for approval of process related documents.
• Working with Directors for standardization of calculations, datasheets, RFQ formats. Development of Excel spreadsheets for various in-house calculations.
• Attending HAZOP meetings.

Preferred Skills

• Attention to details and ability to coordinate between cross‑functional teams.
• Development of skid packages and small process plants from concept to commissioning.
• Hands on experience in process calculations including simulation, heat and mass balance, process equipment, pipeline and valve sizing.
• Knowledge of heat exchanger and conversant to HTRI calculation.
