Job summary

Contactx Resource Management seeks a skilled ServiceNow ITOM specialist to design and implement ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management. You will ensure CMDB integrity, manage MID Servers, and integrate with monitoring tools.

The role requires scripting in JavaScript, ITIL knowledge, and experience with cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure; cross-functional collaboration is essential for upgrades and platform enhancements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB.
• Experience with MID Server setup and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript and understanding of ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, CMDB.
• Configure and maintain MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and patterns.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Work on Event Management including alert correlation, event rules, and dashboards.
• Ensure CMDB health by managing data normalization, data reconciliation, and CI relationships.
• Develop workflows, business rules, and scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITOM modules.
• Collaborate with ITSM, SecOps, and DevOps teams; participate in upgrades and platform enhancements.

• Implement and manage Service Mapping for business services and applications.
