DMart in Mumbai is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to ensure on-time vehicle placement and timely loading. You will manage vendor follow-ups, data tracking, cost analysis, and reporting to the General Manager, while coordinating with DC and store teams to enhance transport service levels.

The role emphasizes cost control, timely payments to transporters, and nurturing partnerships with pan-India transporters to sustain reliable logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely vehicle placement as per schedule and load.
• Escalate issues promptly to resolve delays and keep operations on track.
• Maintain dispatch data, analyze costs, and verify vendor bills.
• Coordinate with loading supervisor to ensure timely loading of vehicles.
• Prepare and share reports with the General Manager.
• Coordinate with DC & PC teams to improve transport service levels.
• Foster long-term relationships with transporters across India to ensure reliable service.

Responsabilités

• Maintain data for each dispatch, analyze cost and ensure proper checking of bills, coordination with accounts for timely payment to transporters.
• Coordinate with the loading supervisor to ensure vehicles are loaded on time and prepare reports for the General Manager.
• Share with Manager any issues faced during DC/store dispatch.
• Coordinate with DC & PC teams to improve transportation service levels and resolve impending issues quickly.
• Analyze business trends to determine capacity augmentation needs periodically.
• Analyze the business share of different transporters and ensure fairness in allotting business, maintaining long-term partnerships.

Description du poste

1. To ensure vehicles are placed on time as per schedule and as per the load, followup with vendors and escalate if there are any issues.

2. Maintain data for each dispatch, analyse cost and ensure proper checking of bills, coordination with accounts for timely payment to transporters.

3. Coordinate with the loading supervisor to ensure the vehicles are loaded on time. Has to prepare different reports and share them with the General Manager

4. Share with Manager issues faced during DC/store dispatch.

5. Closely Coordinate with stakeholders DC & PC team to improve the transportation service level and sort out impending issues quikly

6. Analyse the business trend and requirement basis which capacity has to be augmented from time to time .

7. Analyse the business share of different transporters and ensure fairness in allotting business .8. Maintain good relationship with transportation panindia to keep them motivated for a long term association.
