Job summary

PAREKH is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Lucknow, India, to oversee the logistics and delivery operations. The role focuses on safe, timely, and cost-efficient transport, coordinating a team, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include risk reduction in collaboration with safety committees, daily vehicle arrangements, vendor negotiations, and regular reporting of accidents and safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Authorized to take actions to reduce risk in consultation with safety committee members and EHS executive
• Monitor and report accidents, safety concerns or license issues
• Oversee timely delivery of goods, maintain delivery schedules, track delivery process and inform customers
• Ensure cost-effective transportation of goods
• Undertake transportation paperwork
• Assist the transport manager in daily activities
• Arrangement of vehicles and follow up for time effectiveness
• Make necessary route planning for time effectiveness
• All necessary paperwork and renewals of vehicles in time
• Assign daily transportation team responsibilities
• Hire vehicles for local and up-country as per requirement
• Hold monthly meetings with vendors to achieve company standards
• Report product-related complaints to QA, RM, KAC, AI & principal
• Achieve EHS objectives
• Follow up on vendor (vehicle hiring) bills and checks

• Responsible for monthly meeting with vendor & work on achieving the desired result in line with company standard
• Responsible for reporting product related complaint (s) to QA, RM, KAC, AI & principal
