Job summary

Om Logistics Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi is seeking a proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day transportation activities from pickup to final delivery.

You will coordinate with transporters, drivers, vendors, branches, hubs, and customers to ensure on-time shipments, monitor performance, and maintain accurate reports. The role emphasizes cost-conscious planning and adherence to SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics and transportation operations from pickup to final delivery.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, vendors, branches, hubs, and customers for smooth shipment movement.
• Plan and coordinate vehicle placement as per shipment requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor shipment movement and ensure on-time pickup and delivery as per defined SLAs.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with branches and operations teams for loading, unloading, dispatch, and delivery activities.
• Prepare and maintain logistics-related documents, records, manifests, PODs, invoices, and shipment reports.
• Follow up for POD submission, shipment closure, and documentation within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and service-related queries.
• Monitor transporter performance, vehicle availability, freight costs, and service levels.
• Support freight negotiation and ensure transportation is arranged within approved cost parameters.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce logistics costs.
• Maintain accurate MIS and prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics reports.
