Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Transition Lead to shape and deliver complex IT transition programs. You will design strategies for large deals, manage multi-geo delivery, and ensure smooth handovers from project to hypercare and BAU through robust governance.

Strong ITIL knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and leadership are essential as you mentor teams and identify opportunities to improve transition methodologies across ERP, custom apps, and AMS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transitioning application services (ERP, custom apps, AMS).
• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices for incident, change, and release management in application environments.
• Experience in designing transition strategies for complex IT/application engagements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and global communication abilities.
• Experience leading transition teams with PMP/Prince2/Agile preferred.

Your Role

1. Transition Solutioning & Sales Support: Design and shape transition strategies for large deals, collaborating with bid teams, architects, and solution analysts.
2. End-to-End Transition Delivery: Lead transition projects across multi-tower, multi-geo engagements ensuring delivery on time, cost, and quality.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management: Build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure seamless communication throughout transition.
4. Transition Execution & Governance: Drive smooth handover from project phase to hypercare and BAU, ensuring reporting, metrics, and process adherence.
5. Continuous Improvement & Leadership: Identify scope changes, drive revenue opportunities, mentor teams, and enhance transition methodologies and processes.

Your Profile

1. Application Transition Expertise: Proven experience in transitioning application services (ERP, custom apps, AMS).
2. ITIL & Service Management: Strong knowledge of ITIL practices for incident, change, and release management in application environments.
3. Solutioning for Large Deals: Experience in designing transition strategies and plans for complex IT/application engagements.
4. Client-Facing & Communication Skills: Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and facilitation skills in global environments.
5. Project & Team Leadership: Experience managing transition teams with knowledge of PMP/Prince2/Agile (preferred)
