Job summary

Jimis Burger in Mumbai seeks an experienced Training Manager to lead training across multiple restaurant outlets, driving improvements in employee skills, operational standards, service quality, food safety and overall customer experience.

You will design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for FOH & BOH, develop SOPs and materials, assess training effectiveness, and partner with Restaurant Managers to lift performance through structured programs and Train-the-Trainer initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in Training & Development, preferably in F&B/hospitality.
• Experience training FOH & BOH across multiple outlets.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs, food safety, hygiene and customer service.
• Hands-on in onboarding, refresher training, Training Needs Analysis and Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel for regular outlet visits and field-based training.
• Graduate in any discipline; HR/L&D or Hospitality qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs for FOH & BOH across multiple outlets.
• Conduct onboarding and induction training for new employees.
• Deliver SOPs, food safety, hygiene, customer service, product knowledge and restaurant operations training.
• Identify training gaps through outlet visits, audits, performance evaluations and feedback.
• Conduct regular refresher and skill-based training programs.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Managers and Operations teams to improve employee performance.
• Create and maintain training manuals, SOPs, presentations, checklists and other materials.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations and performance tracking.
• Maintain training records, attendance, assessments and development plans.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer programs for Restaurant Managers and senior staff.
• Ensure consistent implementation of training standards across all outlets.
• Track training KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.

Candidate Profile:

• 4-8 years of experience in Training & Development, preferably within the F& B, restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Experience in training FOH & BOH teams across multiple outlets.
• Strong understanding of restaurant SOPs, food safety, hygiene and customer service standards.
• Hands-on experience in onboarding, refresher training, Training Needs Analysis and Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable with regular outlet visits and field-based training.
• Graduate in any discipline; relevant qualification in HR, L&D or Hospitality will be an added advantage.
