Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and BOM for Tower Cranes. You will contribute to modularisation concepts and ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs per project schedules.

Responsibilities include analysing inputs before design activity, working with cross-functional teams locally and globally, and applying BIS and other design codes. Proficiency in Creo Parametric 7.0 / CED is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–12 months industry experience in manufacturing.
• Certification in design software: Creo Parametric 7.0 / Creo Elements Design.

Responsibilities

• Supporting role for creating 3D Models, 2D Drawings & Bill of Materials of Tower Cranes.
• Develop modularisation concepts for crane parts.
• Analyse inputs before design activity starts.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs per schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and globally.
• Adhere to design codes and BIS standards.

Job description

• Supporting role for creating 3D Models, 2D Drawings & Bill of Material of Tower Cranes


• Responsible for development of modularisation concepts, Parts of crane


• Analyse & understand all inputs received before the design activity started


• Responsible for timely delivery of Engineering outputs in accordance with established schedules.


• Participation with Cross Functional Team (local & global) as per the requirement of Project


• Work according to design codes, global and national standards (BIS) and software tools assigned

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)


• Industry exposure of 6 months-1 year preferably in manufacturing industry.


• Should have Certification in design software, basic skills in Creo Parametric 7.0/ Creo Elements Design (CED)

Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

• Strong engineering basic knowledge of GD & T, Fabrication & Welding process


• Excellent Verbal and written communication in English.
