Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune designs and manufactures tower cranes components. This role focuses on design and optimization of splitter gearbox components, assemblies and systems, balancing technical, scheduling and cost considerations.

You will collaborate across disciplines, manage PLM data (BOM, lifecycle), support tolerance analysis, supplier co-design and contribute to FMEA while driving cost and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies (university / technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive manufacturing
• More than 5 years of experience in similar field

Responsibilities

• Design and optimization of splitter gearbox components, assemblies and systems taking account of technical, scheduling and financial aspects (design to cost from the customer requirements)
• PLM management (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion, etc)
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with the corresponding departments within the project environment
• Tolerance stack-up
• Cooperation with component suppliers for the clarification of technical properties of components and common component development (co-design)
• Contribute to FMEA
• Support local component development with respect to cost and quality.
