Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India, is seeking a test engineer to design test specs, develop and execute manual and automated tests for crane control software, and analyze results.

You will learn automated test development with Python, Veristand, and ECU-Test, maintain CI builds with Jenkins, and collaborate with colleagues in Germany to diagnose software issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and software testing concepts.
• Programming knowledge in C, Python, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Ability to read and understand technical requirements.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design test specifications based on software requirements.
• Develop, implement, and execute manual/automated tests for crane control systems on software integration and system levels.
• Analyze test results and create bug reports.
• Learn and support automated test development using Python, Veristand and ECU-Test tools.
• Maintain and monitor build, test, and deployment infrastructure (Jenkins, hardware-in-the-loop test benches).
• Support colleagues in Germany in identifying and isolating software issues.
• Demonstrate a structured, proactive approach to tasks and learning objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design of test specifications based on software requirements
• Development, implementation, and execution of manual/automated tests for crane control systems on software integration and system levels Analysis of test results and creation of (bug) reports
