Job summary

Career Tree Hr Solutions is seeking an experienced Tooling Maintenance professional to join our tooling team in Chennai. You will be responsible for ensuring tooling readiness, attending breakdowns and supporting smooth production operations.

You will work closely with Production, Maintenance and Process teams, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in tooling performance while adhering to 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Polytechnic in Tool & Die Making or Tool Engineering.
• Hands-on tooling maintenance experience.
• Prefer automotive/manufacturing tooling background.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tooling maintenance and ensure tooling availability for production.
• Attend and troubleshoot tooling breakdowns on priority.
• Identify tooling-related issues and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and Process teams for tooling-related requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of tooling maintenance activities.
• Maintain tooling performance and minimize tooling-related downtime.
• Follow 5S practices and maintain workplace standards.
• Support continuous improvement in tooling maintenance and breakdown reduction.

Experience

4 - 7 years of relevant experience in tooling maintenance / tool room / tool & die maintenance, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
