Job summary

Rishi Seals is seeking an experienced Tooling Manager in India to lead tool room and press shop operations for MS & SS sheet metal components. You will oversee tools, maintenance, and support production efficiency with high-quality tooling solutions.

The role requires coordinating tool development with design and vendor teams, maintaining repair logs, and driving continuous improvement across tooling processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead tool room operations (press tools, progressive tools, pneumatic & hydraulic machines, lathe, milling, chamfering).
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of tools/dies.
• Support tool trials, modifications, and commissioning of new tools.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy of sheet metal parts.
• Collaborate with design/vendor teams for tool development and procurement.
• Maintain tooling records, repair logs, and schedules.
• Mentor toolmakers and drive continuous process improvements.
